Itinerary:
Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.30hrs for our journey to Whitby with a lunch stop in historic Helmsley en-route departing at 14.30hrs allowing time to explore and obtain lunch before continuing our journey to the Royal Hotel Whitby.
Tuesday
Free day to relax and explore Whitby. Today the choice is yours, perhaps wander up to the Gothic ruins of Whitby Abbey to enjoy the commanding views, take a boat trip, go in search of Captain Cook, head to the beach, brave the Dracula Experience or book a journey on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Whatever you decide Whitby has so much to offer its visitors, you won't be disappointed.
Wednesday
Morning visit into the North Yorkshire Moors National Park to visit chocolate box village of Thornton-Le-Dale famous for the TV show Bangers and Cash and better known for its thatched cottages, duck pond, historic buildings, independent shops, cafes and inns, allows time to explore and obtain lunch. Re-join the coach at 13.30hrs, return to Whitby for free time.

Day at leisure in Whitby
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the journey home with a stop in historic York en-route with time to explore and obtain lunch, depart York @ 14.30hrs to continue our journey home.
